Supply Chain Director

On behalf of our client, a reputable company in the Oil and Gas industry, we are recruiting to fill the role of Supply Chain Director. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes to meet customer demands and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives
• Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan production, and ensure timely delivery of products
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, vendors, and logistics providers
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize risks
• Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in supply chain operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in commercial roles, with a track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Director or in a senior supply chain management role
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices
• Experience in demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change
