Position: Field Worker (Seed)

Contract: 1-year renewable contract Location: Ibadan

DUTIES:

• Assist with routine field maintenance and data collection in Musa breeding plots and trials.
• Assist with pollination, harvesting of pollinated bunches and seed extraction.
• Maintenance of plants in the screen houses amp; propagators and ensure general upkeep of research facilities.
• Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

O’level with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

• Be trustworthy and diligent to work with little or no supervision.

• Pay attention to detail combined with good self-motivation and self-organizational skills.

• Have a positive attitude and strong team spirit.
