Role Overview
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic IT Auditor, who will be responsible for the execution and reporting across all of the IT audits. This will include:
- Assessing the effectiveness of controls, identifying and analysing risks, and providing recommendations for improvements
- Plan and execute IT audits including identifying and analysing risks, evaluating the effectiveness of controls and developing recommendations for improvements
- Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
- Analytical mind and expertise in IT systems, applications and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
- Prepare audit reports, presenting findings to management, and providing recommendations for improvements
- Work collaboratively with other departments to implement recommendations and improve processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, risks and trends in the IT audit field
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an excellent understanding of cybersecurity trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of IT Audit experience, working in similar roles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance frameworks
- Professional certification such as CISA, ISO 27001 is an added advantage
- Strong experience auditing Azure/AWS Cloud Services
- Good knowledge of SQL and Databases
- Proficiency in audit software tools and data analytics techniques
- Great exposure across auditing methodologies and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience working in an Agile environment
