Job Summary:
We are the Dangote Cement Plc, one of Nigeria’s most diversified manufacturing conglomerates, and we're seeking an Insurance Officer to join our Dangote Cement Transport Team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain, review all documentation from departments and forward to brokers/insurers.
- Ensure clauses, exclusions and other items/conditions are in order
- Review Policy documents for accuracy and correctness
- Update payment schedule regularly and ensure no gaps in cover as per industry regulations
- Timely notification of claims to brokers/insurers on receipt from departments and follow up to ensure collation of all claims processing documents
- Follow up with claims adjusters / brokers/ insurers to ensure timely settlement of all claims
- Update claims schedule regularly
- Ensure confidentiality in all documents
- Any other duties as assigned by the Insurance Manager.
Requirements
- Bsc/HND in Insurance or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as an Insurance Officer
- Adequate understanding of Insurance industry's practices
- Excellent inter personal relationship
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to details
- Adequate analytical skill
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
