Job Summary
- Responsible for planning and delivering of mathematics’ lessons.
- Periodical assessment and reporting of learners’ performance
- Ensuring excellent performance of pupils in mathematics
Key duties and responsibilities
- Plan and deliver quality mathematics lessons
- Assess, record and report pupils’ progress
- Prepare pupils for internal and external examinations
- Maintain tidy and orderly classroom
- Attends staff meetings and serve on committees as required
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
Educational and work experience
- B.Sc/B.Ed. Mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in teaching
Skills and competence
- Excellent spoken and writing English language
- Good communication skills
- Patience and understanding
- Enthusiasm and friendliness
- Critical thinking
