Job Summary
Construct erect, install, and repair structures/ fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, using carpenters hand tools and power tools in the plant and estates
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Construct erect, install, and repair structures/ fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard in the plant and estates
- Estimate material and labour requirement
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Maintain records, document actions and present progress report
- Read and interpret blueprints and designs to work to specification
Skills and Competencies
- Creativity and design skills
- Experience of using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
Requirements
Key RequirementsEducation and Work Experience
- WASCE/GCE/SSCE+10 YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Trade test 1, 2, 3 + 5 years’ experience
