Job Summary
Provide support by ensuring good supervision of all activities meant to be carried out by the unit.
To ensure fuel and raw materials receipts and issuance are properly monitored to avoid pilferage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing purchase order in conjunction with procurement department, receiving inbound material, storing and issuing to user department.
- Prepare GRNs for fuel and raw materials receipts.
- Managing stock level of inbound materials to avoid excess material holding/stock out.
- Maintain records of receipts as well as issuances so as to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconciliation of physical stock with booked value/SAP
- Responsible for preparing daily and monthly reports
- Supervision of the overall fuel and raw materials activities
- Any other job assigned by the Inventory officer
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
Higher National Diploma (Purchasing and Supply) +3 Years’ experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, Purchasing amp; Supply
Skills and Competencies
- Should have a collaborative work style, strong leadership skill and ability to take proper decision and action whenever any difficult situation arises.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word amp; Excel).
- High ethical integrity
- Basic knowledge of system based inventory management
