A reputable Non-Interest Financial Institution (NIFI) in Nigeria is seeking for a qualified candidate to fill the vacancy of a Company Secretary/Legal Adviser.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the Board and its Committees as well as providing leadership efficiency for the secretariat of the Institution including planning, organizing and setting the agenda of meetings; managing records and documents professionally and confidentially; providing legal advisory services, and ensuring compliance with appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Candidate must possess a degree in Law from a recognized University and a B.L. Possession of LL.M or other Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
At least 12 years post-graduation experience in the financial services industry with at least 5 years at Senior Management level or in similar capacity as the job.
