Job Description

Mevron is seeking to change the world. The world of ride-sharing. As we set to launch into more than 600 cities globally, we are seeking qualified NYSC members to help pave the way. This thorough,12 month training program prepares the right candidate to take on a leadership role in one of our target cities in Nigeria. Our Marketing Manager training program teaches product knowledge, our marketing process and go-to-market launch strategies.

Providing new opportunities for Drivers in the ride-sharing industry is at the core of what Mevron is and does. This means ensuring equal access to the Mevron platform and Passengers for all Drivers. Coupled with this determination is the opportunity for people to recognize they don’t need a car to get around these immensely congested urban environments; they simply need the right ride-sharing app.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly drivers sign up quotas.
  • Canvassing assigned territories to present Mevron products to potential vehicle partners, fleet partners, drivers and passengers.
  • Assisting management in identifying viable marketing and pricing strategies.
  • Demonstrating product features to drivers and passengers.
  • Contacting drivers and passengers and setting up appointments to present Mevron products and recruit them.
  • Completing drivers registration forms and submitting them for processing.
  • Attending meetings, trainings and other industry-related events.
  • Completing regular sign up reports specifying the number of sign ups made.

Requirements

  • Must be an active NYSC member.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is advantageous.
  • Have a friendly and confident personality.
  • Be a reliable and punctual team player.
  • Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to retain important information.
  • Sound consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
