The Role
As a fundamental member of the Marketing amp; Communications Team, you will play a significant role in contributing to the growth and success of Vezeeta. This is a position that will see you gain experience and skills in a wide range of areas as well as working at the forefront of the health-tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Design content marketing strategies and set short term goals.
- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content.
- Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members.
- Edit, proofread and improve content.
- Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
- Analyze web traffic metrics.
- Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence.
- Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement.
- Keeping up-to-date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or relevant fields.
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or relevant fields.
- A portfolio of published work.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
- Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
- Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
- Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
- Project management skills and attention to detail.
