Job Description
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (word, excel, project and possibly primavera).
- Skillful in project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
- Must have handled projects ranging over N2billion.
- Oversee the running of several projects using construction management software packages to plan smooth work flow.
- Work seamlessly with staff, contractors and consultants to deliver quality work within planned time, scope, budget and quality.
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
- Develop and ensure engineering design standards and integrity.
- Monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained.
- Co-ordinate Professionals: Structural Engineers, Builders, Architects, Surveyors and In-House Project Teams to deliver projects.
- Ensures that the right man is assigned to the right job at the right time.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a first Degree in Building / Civil Engineering from a recognized University plus at least fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience, last 5 years of which must be as a Project Manager.
- Have a job permit to work in Nigeria
- Must of have worked in Nigeria
- Registration with relevant professional body is a pre-requisite
- Project management certification and multi-discipline experience is required.
