The accountant is to support the revenue and finance functions through processing of accounting information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with policies and procedures of BEDC.

Requirements

• Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, as well as preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements to ensure proper accounting control procedures.
• Also responsible for efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
• Perform monthly and annual close processing and account analysis in several applications.
• Pay all bills in a timely manner and provide accurate financial information to management
• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax report
• Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications.
• Reconciling company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
