Job Summary

The Risk Intelligence Analyst will ensure that the risks originated in CDL credit cycle (credit initiation, account maintenance and collections) can be predicted and are acceptable to the business. Deliver rigorous analytical viewpoints and objective recommendations driven from detailed understanding of risk and reward dynamics across CDL products and the lending ecosystem. They also shall be responsible for developing an effective Customer Profiling Analytics model to support Credit decision making. Identify customer, product, and segment opportunities to contribute to business goals.

Job Responsibilities

1. Cognitive Risk and Portfolio Management

  • Designing and implementing and overall risk management processes for the organization which includes and analyses of the financial impact of risk on the company per product
  • Monitor and evaluate performance indicators of the portfolio and study the trends for business growth, product acceptance, product cycle stage, and risk levels
  • Collaborate in the development of policy and process guidelines for new products or commercial initiatives
  • Lead the design and implementation of Credit, Collection and fraud scoring tools
  • Performing ad-hoc analytics to dig into and research credit trends
  • Evaluating how changes in the macroeconomic environment (including competitor trends) impact the performance of credit portfolios
  • Creating Outside-In views of consumer credit including partnerships with Credit Bureaus for Credit information behaviour
  • Portfolio performance tracking and analysis
  • Review Risk reports developed by Risk analyst, analyze and advise Management on Risk perceptions and recommended options to mitigate risks
  • Analyze the Risk Management Reports (Net flow / trend analysis, vintage analysis, first payment defaults, and was/is analysis)
  • Conduct on-going review and analysis of the credit portfolio to determine delinquency patterns and recommend appropriate action

2. Customer Profiling

  • Provide analysis and risk recommendations through customer profiling and Segmentation.
  • Responsible for all customer risk-based segment group research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine segment requirements.
  • Responsible for analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cut-offs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and scoring criteria.

Requirements

  • A first degree in a numerate field is required
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience in consumer lending industry or financial services, including a minimum of two years working with large, complex data sets
  • Prior experience with an analytical, data-based approach to exploration, modelling of data, and testing of hypothesis
  • Prior experience with analyzing large volumes of data, drawing conclusions, and presenting findings
  • Strong analytical background, along with the ability and willingness to effectively make recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, SQL, PowerBi, Navision
  • Clear understanding of portfolio risks related to vintage and delinquency trends
  • Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of loan Monitoring amp; Remedial Management
  • Clear understanding of portfolio risks related to vintage and delinquency Trends
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Risk Management
  • Financial Modelling
  • Credit Risk Modeling/Analysis
  • Experience ensuring data-integrity and timely delivery
