Pantaline Limited is seeking an Associate Manager Finance and Business Strategy to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, as well as contributing towards overall business strategy. You will play a key role in driving the growth and profitability of our company by forecasting financial performance, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, and providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
As the ideal candidate, you are a self-motivated problem-solver with a strong financial background. You possess excellent analytical skills, the ability to think critically about complex business issues, and the confidence to communicate your findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Set up, structure, and organize the framework of the Finance and Business Strategy department.
- Develop, implement, and manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with the company's growth objectives and financial strategy.
- Plan, design, and implement the company’s risk management processes.
- Sourcing and management of all forms of financing, including project finance, debt, and equity.
- Prepare business plans, commentaries, and financial statements to facilitate decision-making.
- Analyze financial data and create reports, charts, and other visualizations to communicate insights and trends to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Provide relevant financial performance data to drive strategic decision-making in all business areas.
- Assist in the preparation of investor decks and presentations for the company's financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Evaluate operational performance, identifying areas of weakness and developing strategies for improvement.
- Conduct research on industry trends and provide insights and recommendations for the company's future.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Must possess professional finance certification e.g. ICAN, ACCA, FMVCA, etc.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis, business strategy development, or a related field.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with financial modeling, Excel, and other financial software packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is required.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a constantly changing environment.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve business objectives.
